Rx Sport is dedicated to using Oneway lathes.
The overall extreme quality of construction and super high tolerances are vital to the detailed turning we do on our prototyping. Oneway has been referred to as the ‘Cadillac’ of lathes for years since they weigh a ton which aids in the stabilization of our turning. Oneway lathes are designed and custom built by hand with the serious turner in mind. In our opinion, this piece of machinery is the ‘Rolls Royce’ of lathes.
Oneway’s unique conversion of 220V into 3 phase AC allows us to go from forward to reverse by simply flipping a switch and the torque at its minimum of 30RPM is as robust as when it spins at 3000 RPM. We would never choose any other lathe to do the work we need for MLB and other Elite players without the finest lathes built in the world.
We own lathe model 2036. Our lathe is number 25 from Oneway and was built in 1986. We also use a brand new lathe Model 2436. You can see the 2436 in action as we will be attending TigerFest at Comerica Park in Detroit on January 23rd, 2010.
